OTTAWA — A coalition of lecturers is looking at the federal executive to make researching the results of pot a concern as Ottawa works to legalize and keep watch over marijuana via subsequent July.
An open letter from greater than 50 researchers from throughout Canada says policy-makers will have to reinforce efforts to be informed extra about how marijuana impacts its customers.
Those that signed the letter come with Dr. Mark Ware, an assistant professor at McGill College who served as vice-chair on a federally appointed process drive on pot.
Ware says Canada is uniquely situated to expand and ship the analysis that are meant to accompany legalized hashish, including there’s “super experience and passion” around the nation.
In April, the Liberal executive tabled law proposing to legalize and keep watch over the leisure use of hashish for adults over the age of 18.
